Your 4 days chimpanzee tracking and game viewing tour in Uganda takes you to two national parks Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Parks for chimpanzee tracking and game drives respectively. While on this safari expect to spend an hour in the presence of chimpanzees, human’s close relatives.
You will also enjoy herds of elephants, lions, buffalos, hyenas, and different birds like pelicans, Egrets, fish eagles, kingfishers, and many others on a game drive. You will have a chance to view Rwenzori mountain ranges, crater lakes, tea plantations, banana gardens, local roadside markets, and many other interesting attractions.
Day by Day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park
Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you up and after a briefing on the trip immediately transfer you to Kibale National Park. This journey to Kibale National Park will take you about 6 hours from Kampala and lunch will be en route.
Enjoy exquisite views of the countryside as you pass through tea plantations, crater lakes, forests, roadside markets, and many more. You will arrive at your lodge in the evening in time for your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast, you will be driven by our driver guide to the park offices in Kanyanchu for a pre-tracking briefing exercise. This is a very important exercise as it is meant to protect both the tourists and the chimpanzees.
You will be briefed about the rules and regulations, allocated park guides and escorts, and cross-checking the permits. You will thereafter head to the forest with the guidance of a park ranger guide in the lead to the natural habitat of the chimpanzees. You will come across other primates and birds like the hornbills, blue turaco, vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, olive baboons, and many more.
After locating the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour in their presence observing them feed, play, and rest as you capture breath-taking memories. After this experience, you will be awarded a certificate of tracking in this famous national park before heading back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will check out of your lodge after your meal and our driver will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The journey will be through the Ndali Kasenda craters for a chance to view the twin lakes of Nyinambuga and Kifuruka. On arrival, you will check in at your booked lodge and take on an optional community tour until the evening when you come back to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise
A delicious breakfast will be served to you before heading out to spend a full day in the park. Our driver will then take you on a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Here you will get a chance to spot animals like spotted hyenas, lions, buffalos, Uganda kobs, elephants, and many more. In the afternoon you will enjoy your packed lunch and immediately after you will head to the Kazinga Channel for an evening boat cruise experience.
This boat cruise will introduce you to animals like hippos, elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, pelicans, hamerkops, egrets, and many more others. You will later in the evening head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Departure
The last day of your 4 days chimpanzee tracking and game viewing tour in Uganda will begin with breakfast early in the morning. After checking out of your lodge, our driver will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight back home. Lunch will be served en route.
