Itinerary details
Take part in a 2 day chimpanzee tracking Safari in Kibale National Park which begins and ends in Kampala. This safari experience is accompanied by great scenery covered with tea plantations, forests, rolling hills, crater lakes, and more. Visit Isunga cultural community tours for an optional community walk where you will discover the beautiful chain of craters.
On this tracking safari, you will visit chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and spend an hour in their presence observing them as they roam around with their daily chores.
Day by Day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe by our guide-driver who will then brief you on how your trip will run and transfer you to Kibale National Park. You will enjoy amazing views as you pass through table-like structures of tea plantations, banana gardens, forests, and more. You will arrive and check in at your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon you may take on an optional community walk with Isunga Cultural Community Tours to explore crater lakes, tea and coffee plantations, and more others. You will in the evening head to your lodge for dinner and rest for the night ahead.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Departure
After your delicious breakfast, our guide driver will pick you up and drive you to the Kanyanchu visitor center. Here you will receive a briefing on the rules and regulations of tracking, materials to carry, assignment of park guide ranger, cross-checking chimpanzee tracking permits, and more.
A guide ranger will guide you through the forest to the chimpanzee habitats while meeting birds like the blue Turacos, black and white cascade hornbill, and more, plus other primates like olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, vervet monkeys, and more on the way.
Upon location of the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour in their presence as you learn about their behaviors while capturing beautiful memories on video recording and photos. After this tracking experience, you head back to your lodge for lunch and check out. Thereafter your delighted lunch our guide driver will transfer you back to Kampala and drop you off at any agreed point for your departure.
